Identity for La Isla (The Island), an enchanting wine bar nestled in Laajasalo, Helsinki, a district within the city’s archipelago, interwoven with interconnected islands linked by bridges and causeways. The very name and essence of the brand are inspired by the maritime soul of this captivating area.
This visual identity seeks to encapsulate the dynamic and ever-changing nature of the island’s character, along with the rhythmic flow of ocean waves. At its heart, a custom-crafted lettering logo gracefully mirrors the constant movement of waves when viewed from a distance. Upon closer inspection, this logo seamlessly transforms into recognizable letters.
Enhanced by captivating visuals, including close-ups of the sea’s textures surrounding the island throughout various seasons, representing the changes in the sea, from serene calm to powerful storms, just as it mirrors the La Isla character.
