Microòperes d’Avui is an innovative cultural project that unites three prestigious Barcelona institutions in the Raval area: the CCCB, the MACBA, and the Liceu, creating a musical and artistic journey through the neighborhood. The initiative aims to make opera more accessible to diverse audiences, encouraging reflection on what opera means today and how it could evolve in the 21st century.
We developed the project’s graphic identity, capturing its collaborative and interdisciplinary essence. The design explores the theme of nature—focusing on ecology, human-nature relationships, and interspecies connections—through pixel-based illustrations, blending natural elements with a digital aesthetic. The image connects the three institutions and their respective artistic contributions, adapting seamlessly in both static and dynamic formats.
This visual concept captures the innovation, collaboration, and adaptability of the project. It is suggestive yet abstract, allowing the three institutions and their proposals to blend together perfectly.
